The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for arranging appointments. Arranges meetings to include setting up V-Tel, skype or Microsoft Teams reservations. Prepares meeting minutes. Prepares, reviews, responds, and follows up on all incoming and outgoing correspondence. Maintains files of pertinent laws, rules, regulations, and policies. Screens and transcribes summary notes of all incoming telephone calls. Serves as the primary timekeeper for the service. Substitutes as alternate timekeeper for other time and leave units as needed. Prepares purchase orders and work orders. Serves as the unit coordinator for employee continuing education in the education system. Coordinates travel and processes travel vouchers. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge of administrative concepts and practices; knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, correspondence procedures and format; skill in transcribing meeting minutes and notes; skill in operating computers and various computer software programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.); skill in operating v-tel equipment. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary in nature. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. It occasionally requires carrying light objects such as files, books, papers, and mail. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
