INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

This position has a Selective Placement Factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates at the GS-13 level. The Selective Placement Factor is:
You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. NOTE:
You must submit a copy of your current license with your application package. To qualify for the GS-12:
In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying knowledge of facilities management, theories, principles, concepts, and methods to solve problems with commercial/industrial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems using engineering practices; 2) Utilizing project analyses methods and analytical evaluative methods to find ways to improve recurring maintenance programs; and 3) Providing mechanical or electrical engineering recommendations for advancing maintenance programs. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
