INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER
This position has a Selective Placement Factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates at the GS-13 level. The Selective Placement Factor is:
You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. NOTE:

In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying knowledge of facilities management, theories, principles, concepts, and methods to solve problems with commercial/industrial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems using engineering practices; 2) Utilizing project analyses methods and analytical evaluative methods to find ways to improve recurring maintenance programs; and 3) Providing mechanical or electrical engineering recommendations for advancing maintenance programs.
