Description:
Plans, coordinates, and supervises the work activities of warehouse
functions (directly and through the team lead), including, picking and
loading.
Develops and implements specific objectives and performance
measures for each functional area and individual to improve
performance.
Interprets, understands and acts on individual and collective
performance and quality data.
Leads selection and hiring of new warehouse employees; evaluates
employee performance; develops and implements action plans for
improving all employees.
Ensures that all warehouse and employees receive proper training
and skills development.
Adheres to and enforces the performance expectations and resolves
all disciplinary and performance issues through following the proper
procedures.
Makes recommendations for and implements improvements in efficiency
and effectiveness of the warehouse operations.
Oversees the preparation and loading of trucks for shipments and
delivery of orders in conformance with company procedures and customer
instructions.
Maintains and controls the physical condition of the warehouse and
delivery equipment, supplies, security, facilities, grounds, et
cetera.
Manages and controls warehouse expenses and capital.
Ensures compliance with company and government policies and
regulations (e.g., Safety, OSHA, HazMat, DOT).
Participates in group and regional distribution projects.
Implements company policies and procedures according to company
guidelines for assigned areas of responsibility.
Is knowledgeable of safety work practices and performs all duties
in a safe manner. Supports division safety committee. Ensures
regular safety meetings; completes and reviews safety incident reports
as necessary; recommends changes to assist in maintaining a safe
working environment.
Plans, coordinates, and supervises the management of inbound
freight expenses, including, negotiating ocean and inter-island
shipment rates.
Plans ocean container loads and the timing of ocean shipments.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
