The System Engineering Lead will provide management and supervisory
services
in support of R23G PACOM Experimentation Program personnel with responsibilities in areas of focus that pertain to technology and experimentation with new or existing capabilities in the fields of but not limited to, operational energy, cyber, electronic warfare, C4ISR, sensors and aircraft. The System Engineering Lead will oversee personnel who contribute information to
write reports and information papers, design and conduct tests on various DOTLMPF adaptations, analyze operational data, help develop operational tactics, and track status of USPACOM associated experimentation program and all other areas of responsibility as outlined in the performance of work statement.
Qualifications
Experience and Education Requirements:
This position requires a Master's of Science (M.S) or Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in engineering or other scientific discipline, with no less than fifteen (15) years of related experience in management and supervisory role in a DoD environment directly related to supporting efforts and requirements of programs mentioned above.
May also substitute a Bachelors degree and at least 25 years experience, the experience shall be in engineering or scientific disciplines specific to programs mentioned above
and the candidate shall detail no less than the required 15 years of related experience in management and supervisory role in a DoD environment. The candidate for this positions will be a senior level engineer or scientist with a high degree of experience and knowledge in engineering or scientific disciplines.
They are generally department managers, senior section heads or recognized individual contributors. Department managers and senior section heads generally oversee the performance of one of more significant projects that may encompass multiple engineering or scientific disciplines.
