Bishop & Co. is seeking qualified candidates for an HR Specialist opportunity with an a company in Honolulu.
HR Specialist
is responsible for understanding and administering company systems and standards, benefits and consultation on how to carry out the practices or laws in the operational environment. Manages reporting and data integrity acting as the "double check" to ensure accuracy and administration for the overall success of the business.
What will I be doing?
The HR Specialist works closely with the HR leadership team as well as Operational Managers to partner and carry out functions on personnel matters impacting the day-to-day business decisions as well as create, manage and administer systems related to HR Compliance and General Administration. They are responsible for creating, following the company?s Standards, and establishing systems for internal HR Audits and communicating this clearly and effectively to the stakeholders involved and recommend improvements needed in addition to delivering sound advice to leaders and team members concerning policies, local and federal laws with ways to interpret and operationalize those policies within the leaders' department. They are also responsible for ensuring HR Department's data integrity and making recommendations on any policy or practice changes throughout
, according to local law. Manages benefit plans including FMLA, ADA, WC, TDI and PTO.
Basic Requirements:
3 years managing Federal and State leaves and other employment laws
2 years conducting internal audits or assisting with the audits
3-5 related HR experience
2 years of management or supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
4-5 years managing Federal and State leaves and other laws
2 years conducting internal audits
BA/BS/Bachelors degrees
2-5 years consultative experience
PHR Certification preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
