JOB SUMMARY
Works under the guidance of the Controller who is responsible for the oversight of all accounting and reporting systems of the company and its affiliated group of companies. The Assistant Controller is the top assistant to the Controller.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Controller will assign all assistant controller's work responsibilities, to include responsibilities of the Controller.
Work on special projects as needed.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
Protect company operations by keeping financial information confidential.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree in accounting from an accredited four-year university.
Three years of working experience with a national CPA firm is preferred.
CPA is preferred.
Experience working with federal contracting is preferred.
Ability to multi task and prioritize.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Possess valid driver's license.
Proficient in using software including Microsoft Office Programs.
Proficient with oral and written communication skills.
Possess analytical skills, accuracy, integrity, honesty, and assertiveness.
Available to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
