A 1st Class Operating Engineer is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the hotel's power plant to supply heat, air-conditioning, steam, water and related mechanical services in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing? As a 1st Class Operating Engineer, you would be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the hotel's power plant to supply heat, air-conditioning, steam, water and related mechanical services in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility's power plant to supply heat, air-conditioning, steam, water and related mechanical services Supervise refrigeration, air-conditioning, appliance and engine-room team members Implement preventive maintenance program, make repairs, conduct inventory and maintain accurate service and repair records Monitor, maintain and test Life Safety Systems in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment What are we looking for?
