Finance Associate
We are looking for a Finance Associate who will primarily spend time in managing the work flow of Mana Up Capital, a $6.
3 venture capital fund, as well as assist in cross-functional areas on the team.
You should have strong project management and professional communication skills with an interest in finance and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Project management for fund operations and finance-related tasks Support on financial processes and support of operational teams, including:
Process vendor invoices and reconcile discrepancies Inventory analysis Reports and analytics Provide project management and oversight of venture capital fund related tasks, including:
Investment documentation and communication Portfolio maintenance including tasks related to finalizing quarterly reports to investors Manage relationship and tasks related to annual audit Manage relationship and tasks related to annual tax filings Financial management and coordinate with fund administrative team Communication and respond to requests from investors Coordinate with lawyers on any legal matters that may arise
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of GPA 3.
5 or higher, degree Finance or Accounting preferred Ability to build relationships across team and clients Superior organizational and management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to produce a consistent and quality work product including strong accuracy skills and demonstrating an attention to detail Knowledge of taxes, finance or accounting processes is a plus Excellent writing, editing, listening, and verbal communication skills Demonstrate ability to handle the execution of confidential and time sensitive information About Mana Up Mana Up is a Hawai?i economic development initiative to expand opportunity, entrepreneurship and jobs, designed for local brands.
