We have a record of outstanding, award winning performance delivering projects for the United States Department of Defense (DoD) We are looking for a Senior Project Manager Engineer to manage projects for DoD customers as an integral member of the HDR Hawaii-Guam team.
Customers include NAVFAC, U.
S.
Army Corps of Engineers, U.
S.
Air Force and other military and federal agencies.
Type of projects vary from design of Barracks/Dorms, Family Housing, wastewater treatment, water collection and treatment, water resources, fuel tanks, airfield paving work, and DD1391 preparation.
The Senior Project Manager Engineer will lead and manage teams to execute the planning, design and construction support activities throughout the project lifecycle.
The Project Manager will be responsible for achieving the scope and schedule objectives for each assigned project to meet or exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:
In the role of Senior Project Manager Engineer, we'll count on you to:
oManage multi-discipline design teams for projects for DoD customers throughout the Pacific Region.
oPlan, direct and monitor all aspects multidiscipline projects with varying degrees of technical complexity.
oPrepare/review engineering scopes of work and budgets/estimates for proposals and track budget and schedule status throughout the course of each project.
oSchedule and coordinate all work performed by design teams to achieve project objectives.
oInterface with clients as needed for successful project delivery.
Address client requirements and manage client expectations on projects.
oCommunicate with staff and subconsultants to establish work priorities for projects.
oOversee and supervise two or more project teams concurrently who are producing and coordinating project deliverables.
Teams may be remote and working across multiple geographies.
oMonitor scope of work and scope changes.
oSchedule and conduct meetings with project teams to discuss productivity, workload, and quality control issues.
oFacilitate and encourage communication between disciplines.
oManage staff, provide employee mentoring, establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.
oAdvance the skill level of personnel through training, education, experience, etc.
oCoordinate with other managers throughout HDR to review workload, project status, and staffing requirements.
oMonitor changes in codes, regulations, and client standards.
Implement required changes into the design standards, procedures, and deliverables.
oPerform quality control reviews of projects.
oPerform project engineering duties when required.
LI-MO1 Qualifications Required
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in Engineering oMinimum 15 years project management experience oPE (Professional Engineer), state of Hawaii PE license preferred oExperience with managing and executing civil engineering design projects in the Pacific Region oHands-on experience performing Civil Engineering design including preparing design calculations, specifications, and construction drawings for Federal projects.
oFamiliar with Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) oExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage several concurrent project schedules.
oMS Office and MS Project experience is required oAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications oAbility to work out of our Oahu office is preferred but we will consider neighbor island locations.

The expected compensation range for this position is $121,789.
50 - $173,985.
00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
