Duties SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Experience:
Experience or training which demonstrates your knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles; knowledge of troubleshooting procedures used to isolate malfunctions in aircraft pneudraulic systems; and ability to use technical manuals, equipment specifications, and test calibration procedures in performing the workSPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 18 months of experience or training which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principlesExperience in fabricating fuel, oil and vacuum hose linesExperience in servicing, maintaining, disassembling assembling, repairing and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systemsExperience in diagnosing malfunctions and overhauling pneudraulic accessories by disassembling, cleaning part and examining partsExperience in diagnosing trouble and determining remediesExperience in repairing, rebuilding and overhauling major systems of ground equipment and pneumatic and hydraulic systemsExperience in mechanical repairs using hand tools and test equipmentExperience that demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications and publicationsPHYSICAL EFFORT:
Required to sit, stand, stoop, bend, stretch and work in cramped, tiring, uncomfortable positionsSubject to high intensity and higher frequency sounds that impose a physical burdenMay be required to lift and/or push heavy equipment and components weighing from 20 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to approximately 100 poundsWORKING CONDITIONS:

Prior to placement in this position, the selected applicant must be assigned to an appropriate military position and must meet the definition of a dual status technician in accordance with 32 U S C 709Other Requirements:
