Cash Handling & Customer Service Provides an Exceptional Customer Experience Delivers personalized customer service and consistently look for ways to WOW customers Tackles a variety of financial transactions ranging from check cashing & cash deposits to loan payments to counting currency and coin accurately.
Maintains accurate records of each customer in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures Answers customer questions with a can-do attitude, no matter how complex or technical Complies with all security procedures and bank regulations that apply to your position Maintains working knowledge of our policies and procedures that apply to your position.
Safeguards assigned, branch and customer cash according to Security Procedures Deposit Product Referrals Holds financial conversations to determine needs and refer appropriate solutions Identifies referral opportunities to maintain relationships and adds value for all customers Actively cross sells bank products and services Participates in branch or bank wide campaigns Maintains and submits customer referrals and reports as required Works as a team to meet and exceed individual and team goals Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Teller I Requirements:
6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service.
Teller II Requirements:
1
year(s) of experience in cash handling and customer service.
1
year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution and/or Teller experience.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers.
Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time.
Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
