Duties Summary Human Resources Specialist I:
Serves in a trainee capacity, receiving formal and on-the-job training, in the principles, concepts, work processes, regulations and reference materials fundamental to technical and professional aspects of human resources management; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Human Resources Specialist II:
Serves in a trainee capacity, receiving formal and on-the-job training, in work processes, precedent situations, working relationships with other functions/agencies, regulations, contracts and reference materials of increasing complexity and integration with other functional areas of human resources management; performs a variety of basic and routine assignments consistent with training status; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Human Resources Specialist III:
Performs moderately difficult work of a technical nature in one or more of the functional areas of human resources management (i.
e.
, Classification and Pay; Recruitment, Examination and Placement; Training and Employee Management Training; Human Resources Administration Services; and Labor Relations); and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Basic Education/
Experience:
Graduation from a regionally accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor's degree for all levels.
Specialized
Experience:
None for level I, six (6) months for level II, and one and one half (1 1/2) years for level III of professional work experience in one or any combination of human resources management functions; i.
e.
, recruitment, placement, examination, position classification, pay or wage administration, employee management relations and services, employee development, human resources program development and services, labor relations, and human resources research.
