This department cleans, prepares, assembles, sterilizes, distributes, and ensures the quality of all surgical instruments and medical equipment so that our physicians and staff can effectively carry out their work in caring for Hawai'i's people.
If you are highly organized and have an appreciation for operational integrity, you could be part of the team that distributes supplies accurately and efficiently throughout our facilities network.
As the SPD Aide, you will clean, prepare, assemble, sterilize, distribute and ensure the quality of all surgical instruments and specific medical equipment according to established procedures.
You will also inventory and replenish medical supplies via various distribution systems, as well as transport supplies, equipment and potentially hazardous waste within hospital facilities.
