0 Honolulu, HI Honolulu, HI Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $18 - $24 an hour $18 - $24 an hour SUMMARY The bilingual Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including the whole lifecycle of employment including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
?The HR Generalist performs and executes day to day functions and tasks of HR operations.
?Talent and Acquisition:
- Place ads, Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation.
? Administer Benefits - Payroll Administration (Semi-Monthly) - Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage Administration including Open Enrollment - Keep all the related records up to date.
?Employee Relations - Being a contact person for all employees to answer any HR related questions.
- Handles disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations.
- performance and talent management; productivity, - occupational health and safety; and training and development.
?Compliance - Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- At least one year of human resource experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
Prefferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

years' experience in an HR leadership role Fluent in writing, reading, and speaking Japanese in business manner.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese Computer literate Able to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing including software programs for personnel records, recruiting, hiring.
- SHRM CP or PHR certification is a plus.
Work Hours:
Full-time:
8 hours/day, 40 hours/week(Able to work on weekends if necessary) Benefits (Full benefits for Full-time employees):
