HR Generalist - Labor Relations

Job Purpose:
This position functions as a strategic partner with people at all levels in the process organizations and interacts with Union officials and outside third parties like government investigators or compliance specialistsThis position will have primary responsibility for facilitating the resolution of labor contract administration issues and for the interpretation of laws and regulations within the employment context and the implementation of effective solutions to labor or legal issues raisedThis position is responsible for the effective resolution of internal disputes and managing the Company's efforts in EEO and DiversityIneffective handling of these issues can lead to employee dissatisfaction and corporate legal liabilities
Essential Functions:
Coordinates with HR Manager to direct and monitor the conflict resolution processSupporting company management team on day-to-day contract administrationEnsuring corporate compliance with all facets of labor - employment lawSupporting management team in all union relations issuesPreparing for and assisting in collective bargaining negotiationsManaging legal enforcement proceedings and litigation internally or with outside legal counsel if necessaryDeveloping and directing the PVA measurement processMonitoring and improving the effectiveness of the PVA process and ensuring the integration of PVA in the planning and initiative processContinually evaluating best practices on PVA and refining the PVA process as needed Education:
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
Must possess a valid driver's license Relevant Work
Experience:
1 to 3 years in related field Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in contract negotiations and administrationExperience in conflict resolution strategies and practices including grievance and arbitration proceedingsExperience in interest-based problem solvingExperience in conflict resolution a plusBackground in EEO Experience in organizational design preferredExperience in employee communications preferredBackground in labor relationsBroad knowledge of functional disciplines within the companyStrong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsKnowledge of and experience in EEO administration and complianceKeen understanding of functional areas of the company and their interdependency Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities Work Environment:
May require travel to various locations throughout the State of Hawaii Recommended Skills Administration Communication Conflict Resolution Contract Negotiation Internal Communications Lawsuits Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
