Apply your expertise in buildings engineering and project management while leading multidisciplinary resources, ensuring project requirements are met within established timeframes and budgets.
Foster knowledge sharing by acting as a trainer, mentor, and valuable resource to colleaguesMaintain accountability for project team members' deliverablesAchieve technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary, and client service objectives for each projectLeverage your strong mechanical engineering skills, experience, and knowledge to guide the design and oversight of building projectsStrategically manage and plan production resources and workflows to produce necessary design documentation, drawings, and calculations for mechanical engineering projectsOccasionally serve as a QC reviewer on projectsDelegate tasks effectively to production support staffCultivate and nurture existing client relationships while proactively seeking new business opportunitiesDevelop and deliver project-related client presentationsExpand your knowledge of technologies and trends, applying them to relevant project and market types while continually enhancing your skillsActively pursue additional knowledge in related disciplines through internal and external trainingAttend and lead in-house project meetingsParticipate actively in meetings, initiatives, and projects that contribute to studio and firm-wide goalsRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience in managing healthcare clients.
Leadership and management of healthcare delivery teams, particularly in designing HVAC and Plumbing systems for Healthcare Facilities in the built environment; Hawaii Department of Health and FGI Guidelines experience requiredStrong client consulting backgroundProficiency in project management principlesAbility to effectively manage clients, projects, fees, scope, and teams, aligning with critical stakeholder success factors to achieve budget, schedule, and deliverable objectivesStrong grasp of ASHRAE 170, NFPA 72, 99, 101, and 110, Hawaii State Building Codes, State Electrical Code, State Energy Conservation Code, and FGI Guidelines as they relate to Hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and medical office buildings preferredFamiliarity with producing project-related documents and adhering to documentation standards expected of a Project ManagerCapability to integrate design elements cohesively with other disciplines to deliver a coordinated designIn-depth understanding of healthcare plumbing and medical gas systemsAbility to apply sustainable design principles within projects, aligning with healthcare facilities' process-driven requirementsStrong client communication and interpersonal skillsLogical reasoning and organizational skills to structure concepts and ideas effectively in projectsPreferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, coupled with 7-10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and skillsPreferred Professional Engineering licensePreferred Project Management Professional certification (PMP), LEED AP credential, ASHRAE Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP) certification, and familiarity with various construction delivery processes, including Design Assist and Design-BuildAbility to organize concepts and ideas into projects using logical reasoning and organizational skillsProficiency in identifying and managing project-related risks and unanticipated scope changesFunctional proficiency with BIM software, particularly Revit MEPStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteLocations:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
