Summary:
In collaboration with the IMH and Family Services Coordinator, the IMH and Family Therapist performs direct clinical services, including dyadic assessments, family goal planning, individual and family therapies, psychoeducation and counseling groups, and other children's, parenting, and family engagement services.
The therapist collaborates with greater treatment & support teams and community partners around specialized clinical care for the infant/parent and family in all FTS programs.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in psychology, social work, mental health, family therapy or similar field.
Clinical license preferred, willingness to work towards clinical licensure.

Specialized training in infant and early childhood mental health and dyadic clinical interventions.
IMH-Endorsement and/or Child/Parent Psychotherapy rostering preferred, must be willing to obtain within one year of employment and/or in accordance with professional development plan established at hire.

Preferred minimum 2 years post-graduate work in dyadic and family services in residential treatment programs.

Competent in up-to-date Microsoft versions and programs, and virtual/telehealth platforms
Comfortable with clinical documentation and navigation in data/EMR systems
Valid Hawaii Driver's License Required.
Essential Functions:

Regular attendance is required for this position.

Participates regularly in Reflective Supervision and Consultation (RSC) with supervisor.

Completes Comprehensive Developmental Evaluations on residential dyads with support of clinical team and other staff/interns as needed.

Works with team to develop Individualized Family plans and strategies to include, but not limited to:

Reunification and visitation support
Father and extended family engagement
Child development and sibling support
Coordinates IMH and Family Services with greater clinical team
Provides Family Therapy, Play Therapy, Individual Parenting Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Child/Parent Psychotherapy
Care coordination with external services providers associated with child, including Child Welfare Services and Resource Caregivers
Infant Mental Health Interventions including:

Preventative check-ins with new moms
Prenatal and postpartum support
Staff coaching and support in specialized areas.

Dyadic brief interventions (in any/all of SAFTS's programs, residential and outpatient)
Participate in weekly department meetings, residential treatment team and/or outpatient treatment team meetings.

Attend Family Education and Pa'ina as scheduled.

Facilitate psycho-educational parenting and relationship groups and/or classes.

Document service plans and service delivery according to FTS policy and procedures (ensures and/or delegates services entries into electronic medical records system).

Correctly and promptly follow specified agency procedures required for the appropriate handling of all Emergency Response Codes
Perform other related clerical duties as may be required or assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
