General Accountant
Summary:
Perform accounting functions including:
recording journal entries, producing financial statements.
Assist department in monitoring grant allocations.
Maintain and reconcile GL Accounts, prepare management and billing reports.
Performs calculations, analytical review, verification, and posting duties to maintain accounting accurate records.
Assist department in other Finance duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2 -3 years experience Knowledge of MIP Fund Accounting Software a big plus Working knowledge of Non-profit tax filing and tax compliance as it pertains to State and Federal level regulations Demonstrated ability as a team player with excellent communication and analysis skills Have established skills in accuracy, organization, and working in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company and coordinate work efficiently Job Type:
