Key Responsibilities Leadership Role within FP&A Develop a multi-year strategic plan and P&L forecast for assigned departments.
Define standardized reporting packages, dashboards, and scorecard/metrics reporting that meet the information needs of diverse stakeholders Collaborate across FP&A to deliver project support and allocate resources to adapt to the changing nature of the business Support and promote departmental initiatives aligned with company-wide objectives by analyzing and validating assumptions and inputs throughout the planning, forecasting and budgeting processes Develop advanced financial models and conduct analysis using a broad range of quantitative tools and techniques, (trend analyses on past financial and operational performance, root cause analyses, analysis of profitability drivers, scenario modeling for future options, unit-cost benchmarking, etc.
) Comfortably work with incomplete/ambiguous information, keeping sight of the big picture and making recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders.
Develop business cases and scenario models to drive better business decisions Own and present analyses and recommendations, with reports, presentations, financial updates and decision support for senior leadership Support team with coaching and mentorship, career development and general team building in Hawaiian Airlines values, effective written and verbal communication, and advanced excel modelling techniques Other duties as assigned or directed Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent and minimum 6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a finance/analytical role with a strong emphasis in financial analysis Management of a team; ability to lead, develop and motivate Ability to make decisions and recommendations based on data and analysis Ability to maintain confidentiality Self-directed; able to meet deadlines in an environment of constantly changing priorities and data Project management skills Strong proficiency in Excel, MS PowerPoint and other data analysis tools and ability to train junior staff Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and support for a cross-functional team dynamic Able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed or assigned / Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position.
