Senior Network Engineer with Security Clearance
Torch is seeking a full timeSenior Network EngineeronOahu, Hawaiito design local and wide area network infrastructure, and to install and configure network hardware switches, routers, firewalls, etc
Responsibilities:
o Designs local and wide area network infrastructureo Installs and configures network hardware switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
o Identifies and implements network security measureso Supervises subordinate network engineerso Resolves escalated network support issues and service ticketso Creates network diagrams and status reportso Oversees the inside cable plant infrastructure (fiber and copper)o Supports data center and communication room equipment managemento Oversees life cycle management of network infrastructure Job Requirements Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION:
o Bachelors degree with minimum of eight (8)years experience; (years of experience accepted in lieu of degree)o Experience in a DoD network environmento Experience and current knowledge of network infrastructure hardware, such as:
switches, firewalls, routers etc.
o Experience implementing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)o Knowledge and experience implementing network security architecture (PKI certificates, access/multi-factor authentication) REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
o Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (i.
eSecurity
CE, CCNA, CySA+, etc)o Must have or be able to obtain at least one of the following Network Certifications; Cisco, Aruba, or Palo Alto within one (1) year of first day REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
