The Meals to Go (MTG) Coordinator will oversee the MTG Program and assist the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) department in the day-to-day operations, while maintaining the highest customer service, food quality and safety standards, and accurate financial and dietary information.
Essential Duties/Functions:
Oversees PCH's Meals to Go Program Handles all incoming inquiries regarding the MTG program.
Process referrals completes intake documentation, confirm diet orders, and processes and sends out MTG admission letters.
Oversees daily prep of MTG meals, ensuring meals are packed, labeled and delivered per regulatory temperature guidelines.
Completes and submits the necessary billing information to the Business Office.
Creates efficient MTG delivery routes for MTG Driver(s) to follow.
Ensures customer satisfaction.
Assists with MTG meal delivery when needed.
Direct supervisor of the MTG Driver(s) Attends community fairs and events (i.
e.
, Senior Fair) to promote MTG Program.
Assists FNS Department, if needed.
Duties may include, but not limited to:
preparing daily meal tray tickets and production sheets, input resident diet information (food preferences, diet orders, etc.
), assist with putting away delivery stock, and inventory.
Performs other duties as assigned or required Work Hours:
Tuesday - SaturdayQualification Requirements:
High School diploma or general education equivalent 1 year of Food Service Industry work experience 1 year of Team Lead/Supervisor work experience Must have valid driver's license and a clear drivers abstract Must understand proper food handling techniques including hand washing and sanitation.
Must understand proper kitchen safety including the use of sharp and the dangers associated with temperature extremes.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Must be able to push/pull at least 75lbs.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to facilitate proper communication with others.
Must have a basic understanding of LTC clinical nutrition as far as dietary requirements.
Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
Must be able to use standard and program specific computer software including Excel, Word, and Email.
Must demonstrate highest standards of customer service.
