Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day catering operations including flight schedules, aircraft swaps, menu changes, catering equipment requirements Support irregular operations & ad hoc unscheduled flights; facilitate communication to impacted kitchens Track, investigate & report on daily Catering performance including delays and service failures Assist startup & transition of kitchen locations with operational instruction relative to HA policies & procedures Audit for kitchen compliance of all operational procedures Daily processing of catering performance feedback including research of discrepancies, resolution & timely replies to the reporting party Record & track all feedback, penalties & rewards in alignment with the current Service Level Agreement (SLA) for each vendor Maintain relationship with Inter-Island Commissary Team & maintain a supportive relationship with that operation Manage regular updates of all contact information for each catering vendor Provide backup support for Specialist - Catering Supply Chain as needed Other duties as assigned or directed Requirements Minimum Requirements Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 2 years of operations, logistical, or related experience Must be able to obtain AOA badge with CBP clearance & HNL ramp license Must become a certified Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) within six months of start date Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage tight deadlines Proficiency in MS Office Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Must be able to work independently and cross functionally with other departments Excellent customer service orientation Off-island, mainland, and international travel is required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekend Must have received the COVID Vaccine by date of hire All applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted, and they must successfully pass the drug test.
