Job Description Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital.
It is well recognized as Hawai'i's leader in the care of women, infants and children.
With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility.
Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani.
The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women's Center and the Women's Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
The Carter Unit at Kapi'olani is a pediatric unit dedicated to the care of patients from birth to approximately 6 to 8 years of age with the goal of providing comprehensive, individualized and family centered care to our patients.
The experienced team in the Carter Unit provides complex medical/surgical care, care for medically fragile children and restorative care, telemetry, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, chest tubes, traction, Bi-pap ventilation, apnea monitoring, hyperbilirubinemia phototherapy, and IV therapy, as well as postoperative open-heart surgery.
If you are a compassionate, sensitive caregiver and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, you could be the ideal candidate for our Registered Nurse position.
You would provide nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in our Carter Unit.
You would also function as an associate to a charge nurse, and eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License.
One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Pediatrics.
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
Current Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) CPR cards.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards.
Two (2) years recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Pediatrics.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
