)The Resource Team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend to their normal positions.
The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that supports our outpatient clinics, including Medical Sub Specialties, Primary Care, and Surgical.

As a Medical Assistant, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide our recognized compassionate health services to patients and their families.
In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities in our Resource Team department.
We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.
Under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Federal Vaccination Mandate, all health care workers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption from receiving the COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications:
High school or equivalent.
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience.
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA).
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Six (6) months medical assistant experience.
Knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology (CPT) or ICD-10 coding.
Experience with electronic medical records.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
