Strategic Financial Planning Analyst- COE Corporate Planning and Analysis ( Full Time, 40, Day)

JOB SUMMARY/
Responsibilities:
o Serves as a financial consultant and resource to The Queen's Health System (QHS) executive management staff, primarily for the analysis of the long-term strategic planning and strategic initiatives with significant financial impact to QHS.
o Monitors programs to evaluate adherence to established plans and goals.
o Provides analytics on financial plans with scenario and sensitivity analysis considering capital allocation (strategic expenditures) and healthcare reform variables.

o Essential:
finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
o Continuous:
sitting, repetitive arm/hand motions.
o Operates personal computer, calculator, and various office equipment.

o Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
A.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
o Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, healthcare or related field.
o Master's degree in business administration preferred.
o CPA licensure highly desirable.
B.
Experience:
o With Bachelor's degree, five (5) years progressive experience in Finance.
o With Master's degree, three (3) years progressive experience in Finance.
o Experience to demonstrate:
o Knowledge of financial/cost accounting, business planning and development, and management information systems.
o Ability to perform complex financial analyses and studies associated with reimbursement, profitability, business development, and treasury functions.
o Ability to work with financial systems, including operations, cost accounting, budgeting and analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, contract management, reimbursement, and statistics, preferably in the healthcare industry.
o Strong understanding of modeling software, including reporting and data manipulation, preferably with Kaufman Hall financial modeling.
o Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a broad range of people to accomplish assignments and projects effectively and efficiently.
