If you are excited about emerging technologies, finding creative solutions to complex problems, and the strategic challenges of near-peer competitors and adversaries, do not miss this opportunity!What you will do Identify, assess, and vet companies being considered for hire by HII, ensuring all corporate and legal requirements are met or exceeded Create and maintain file for vendors to post and track invoicing and payments Work with cost control analyst/business manager and project manager to coordinate billing, billing cycles for services rendered Maintain central share file for vendors to send their invoicing; maintaining a completely transparent finance picture for anyone with a reason to know Interface with vendors to resolve invoicing/payment issues Participate in finance meetings to inform local and corporate HII leadership of potential issues and needs regarding vendors Perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources Compile, review and analyze data and provide observations/recommendations to senior staff Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures Receive invoices and work with Accounts Payable to make sure no payments are delinquent Coordinate all client-related employee travel by drafting, reviewing, and submitting Travel Authorization Requests; drafting and submitting trip reports following employee travel; compiling Receipt Breakdowns and Receipt Packages for government FEDSIM, Prime, and company use; coordinate company travel card applications and associated credit card limits, and creating Tax Exempt Travel Reports for internal company use Assist in reconciling timesheets errors to ensure all team employees are in compliance with government and company policies Additional duties as assigned What we are looking for High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Proficiency in Microsoft Teams Excellent oral and written communication skills Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Bonus points for Prior experience with defense contracting or Department of Defense (DoD) Prior experience working with large and diverse teams Creative problem solver Physical RequirementsJob performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
