Analyst, Financial Analysis is a highly-motivated individual who leverages strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help drive enterprise-wide strategic decision support.
The Sr.
Analyst is able to prioritize and multi-task while working in a highly visible, fast-paced, and dynamic cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities Independently perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve key strategic business problems for Hawaiian Airlines Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Hawaiian Airlines departments to gather and translate data to actionable information Develop advanced financial models and conduct analysis using a broad range of quantitative tools and techniques (trend analyses on past financial and operational performance, root cause analyses, analysis of profitability drivers, scenario modeling for future options, unit-cost benchmarking, etc.
) Draw out insights and recommendations from analysis including viewpoints on:
long-term economic outlooks, long-term scenario modeling, industry and competitive analysis Develop business cases and test hypotheses to drive better decisions Prepare clear and concise presentations and run well structured meetings to deliver recommendations for senior leadership Take ownership of projects or modules of larger projects Professionally represent Hawaiian Airlines to vendors, unions, partners, and other 3rd party organizations as necessary Coach, lead, and, as appropriate, help manage and develop Analysts and other junior colleagues or peers Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience 3 years of work experience in Finance or related role Strong data-gathering and analysis skills Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools Strong proficiency in PowerPoint Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate and interpret analysis to executive leadership and decision-makers Ability to maintain confidentiality Enthusiasm for travel and hospitality industry Demonstrated ability to think creatively Team oriented Well organized and able to work independently when needed Must be willing to work outside typical business hours when required for certain project-driven events Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position.

Preferred Qualifications Master's degree 5 years in financial analysis or related field Expert level knowledge in Excel, including the ability to develop complex multivariable models that may require programming in visual basic for applications User level knowledge in Access.
