Job DescriptionKapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital.
It is well recognized as Hawai'i's leader in the care of women, infants and children.
With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility.
Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani.
The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women's Center and the Women's Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
The Medical Surgical Unit delivers individualized, comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and family-oriented care in a multi-disciplinary approach to health and wellness.
Services provided by the Medical Care Team include general adult and adolescent medical and surgical care including gynecologic, oncology, mastectomy, minor orthopedics and simple fractures.
The Medical Surgical Unit also provides post-delivery support to our obstetric population.
If you are compassionate, sensitive caregiver and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, you could be the ideal candidate for our Registered Nurse position.
You would provide nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in the Medical Surgical Unit.
You would also function as an associate to a Charge Nurse, and eventually assume Charge Nurse responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse license.
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association (ACLS) CPR card.
One (1) year recent acute Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry.
Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards.
Two (2) year recent acute Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry with cardiac medications and the use of High Flow Nasal Cannula.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
