Specialist provides administrative support to the CRELD manager, lending team officers and underwriters, and the administrative team to ensure effective workflows of the division to assist in achieving group performance goals and objectives.
The Specialist supports the lending teams through administrative functions related to generating new commercial mortgage, construction, and commercial loans and proactively managing customer relationships to meet loan runoff projections and deposit targets.
For Senior Specialists - Exercise independent judgment to resolve administrative issues on behalf of the division manager, team leaders, and lending teams and primarily responsible for training lower grade specialists and cross-training staff members.
Multiple levels available based on qualifications.

Primary Accountabilities:
Portfolio Management:
Provide portfolio management support for the CRELD Manager, Lending Teams, and Portfolio Manager.
Prepare Portfolio Review Report for lending team portfolio reviews with Credit Administration.
Prepare Term Loan Review Status Report and track completions.
Manage property inspection process and track inspection completions and reviews.
Prepare Asset Quality Report and track completions.
Manage overdraft process requiring relationship officer decisions on payment of overdrafts.
Coordinate officer portfolio changes and reassignments with Deposit Servicing.
Prepare portfolio management reports as assigned.
As assigned, manage the CRELD tickler and EDR environmental reporting system and process.
In the absence of administrative staff members, effectively manage these administrative functions.
Contribute to and support CRELD achieving satisfactory audit ratings, compliance reviews, and FDIC exam reviews.
Administrative Support for CRELD:
Manage administrative management support services for the CRELD staff.
Manage CRELD time and attendance tracking system.
Schedule and coordinate meetings for division manager and staff.
Coordinate and compile monthly reports and assist in report design and maintenance.
Prepare CRELD monthly loan fee income report.
Coordinate CRELD work schedules, vacations, and related personnel administrative matters.
Maintain CRELD meetings master calendar and schedule meetings for CRELD manager and staff.
Coordinate CRELD training sessions.
Coordinate CRELD officer meetings with sales brokers and real estate professionals.
Prepare CRELD donations and sponsorships reports to marketing division.
Monitor and order supplies.
Assist CRELD managers and loan officers with special projects.
Lead or coordinate special projects, training, and improvement initiatives.
As assigned, manage the CRELD documentation process for new loans, renewals, and modifications.
Administrative Support for Other Areas:
Manage administrative support for other Business Units as assigned.
Coordinate and compile monthly performance reports for management as assigned.
Designated as Bank travel coordinator for travel arrangements for CRELD staff and other areas of Bank.
Prepare monthly loan fee income report for various Business Units (including CRELD, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, International Banking, and Business Banking).
Monitor and manage the Bank's golf memberships, reservations, and payments.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience:
Specialist I 1
years of experience in commercial real estate documentation and reading legal documents (A Bachelor's Degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of required work experience) Specialist II 2
years of experience in commercial real estate documentation and reading legal documents (A Bachelor's Degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of required work experience) Specialist III 3
years of experience in commercial real estate documentation and reading legal documents (A Bachelor's Degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of required work experience) Senior Specialist 4
years of experience in commercial real estate documentation and reading legal documents (A Bachelor's Degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of required work experience) Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers.
Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time.
Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
