Special Inspector - ICC Reinforced Concrete / Soils
Consolidated Engineering Laboratories is currently seeking to hire Special Inspectors for our Hawaii Division.

For over 35 years, Consolidated Engineering Laboratories (CEL) has built a distinguished history and an impeccable record providing quality assurance, material testing and special inspection, and geotechnical engineering for many of the landmark projects that have been constructed in the western United States. Some of our recent projects include: Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Oakland Airport Connector, SFO Control Tower, Transbay Tower in San Francisco, New Stanford Hospital, and more.

Qualifications:
Any combination of the following certifications:
ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1
AWS Certified Welding Inspector
ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Pre-Stressed Concrete, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Structural Welding, ICC High Strength Bolting, ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing, ICC Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing
DSA Masonry, Shotcrete
Nuclear Gauge Operator
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver License;
- Willing to use own vehicle for the job
- Knowledge of State & Local building codes & regulations
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of building standards; terminology & construction methods
- Knowledge of occupational health & safety standards
- Knowledge of inspection methods, procedures & record keeping
- Willing to travel
- Able to lift &/or move up to 50 lbs.
Must pass physical & drug screen.
The Inspectors and Technicians at Consolidated Engineering Laboratories are members of Operating Engineers Local Union # 3. Members receive a generous benefits package paid for by CEL, which includes medical, dental and vision plans, as well as Pension and 401(K) Plans.
Salary: prevailing wages for all projects.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
