Job Description:
Full and part-time employment opportunity for a field technician in the Hawaii area is available. This is a hands-on position with a great mix of responsibilities. Field work includes using a wide range of geophysical tools to image and accurately map the underground utilities and pipes. Services include advanced leak detection, video inspection, and infrastructure assessment to detect leaks, utilities and related structures.
Position requires familiarity of all typical utility locating system equipment and use of a variety of radio frequency pipe locators, cable fault locators, ground penetrating radar - GPR, sewer cameras, metal detectors and sub surface listening devices. Candidate must be willing to learn advanced geophysical survey methods. Office work includes all QA processes involved in preparing deliverables such as review and correlation of utility records to field data, follow-up with utility groups, contractors, preparation of utility maps and reporting.
Desired Skills and
Experience:
Technical understanding and experience in land survey methods and processes, global positioning systems (GPS), geophysical mapping, ground penetrating radar (GPR), aerial photography, and (or) Computer Aided Design (CAD) strongly desired, but not required.
Minimum Requirements:
1
years of utility location experience is desired with a background in a surveying or inspection related field. Utility knowledge. Basic knowledge of all the utility systems builds, fiber optics and petroleum.
Basic Computer Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows 7-8/Mac and experience with relevant software products (AutoCAD and Survey-Grade GPS a plus)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
