Responsibilities:
- A trainee position requires no directly related experience.
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers to include Windows and Excel.
- Test equipment, such as multi-meters, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters, and communicating devices, is required.
- Fire suppression experience helpful.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirements and conform with all Fleet standards when Company vehicle is not supplied.
- Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
- May be required to work overtime, including weekends and holidays and be on call, to respond to emergency situations.
- Must be able to work alternative shifts or work nights.
- May be required to travel neighbor islands The primary function of this position is to provide reliable, high quality customer support through on-site inspecting and preventive maintenance services.
- Perform inspections and diagnostic tests for all accessible peripheral devices listed and currently connected to the facility life safety system along with other related life safety equipment per applicable state and local requirements.
- Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude are a must.
- NICET Level II certification must be obtained within 2 years of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and retain the states Security license.
Qualifications:
- 2 years Associate Degree in electricity or electronics or equivalent experience
- Only candidates who possess the above minimum qualifications will be considered.
- Candidates must be at Company standards in performance and must successfully complete a background investigation and drug test.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid drivers license required.
