Job Description:
As an HVAC Technician at Advanced A/C Contracting, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide high-quality air conditioning solutions to our customers across Oahu.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Installation:
Perform installation of central air conditioners and cooling systems in residential and commercial properties, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
2.
Maintenance:
Conduct regular maintenance checks on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
This includes cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting various components as needed.
3.
Repairs:
Diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
Troubleshoot problems efficiently to minimize downtime for our customers.
4.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and providing expert advice on cooling system maintenance and usage.
5.
Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing HVAC tasks, ensuring the safety of yourself, coworkers, and customers at all times.
6.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
Complete service reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair is required - 1 to 2 years of HVAC exp or a graduate from a reputable HVAC program for entry level pay.
Anything above that would be based on your level of experience.
- Working knowledge of air conditioning systems, including central split/ductless systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis -Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally.
-Valid driver's license
