Business Development Director (USINDOPACOM) with Security Clearance

Responsibilities Peraton is currently seeking a Hawaii-based Business Development Executive in the Department of Defense arena, with proven ability to identify and grow new business in the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) and across all the service branches.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of success in identifying and winning new business and in leading business development teams in capturing targeted programs in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
It is important for the candidate to have experience building a robust, targeted pipeline of opportunities that will drive growth and ensure that goals are met.
Critical skill sets include strong strategic planning abilities and an unrelenting focus on winning business, with a record of big wins with the above customers.
It is also important that the candidate is well connected with persons on island and throughout the INDOPACOM AOR to include U.
S.
Army Pacific, Special Operation Command Pacific, Pacific Air Forces, Marine Forces Pacific key personnel, and has established relationships within the systems integration, IT, and mission solution communities.
Job Responsibilities Responsible for managing the function and identifying business opportunities for the Company and developing relationships with key decision makers in the government marketplace.
Develops key business relationships in the government marketplace, with a primary responsibility for identifying and developing opportunities for business expansion.
Supports the development of customer or market penetration strategies and individual opportunity win strategies, account plans, technology development plans, and partnering strategies.
Acts as liaison with government agencies and offices.
Ensures that the business development strategy is implemented.
Makes recommendations for change or modification to strategy.
Leads teams to develop and deliver various professional services solutions to include whitepapers, demonstrations, proposals, and other internally developed products used to identify, qualify, and capture new business.
Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree plus 16 years of experience or Master's Degree plus 14 years of experience or PhD plus 10
years of experience is required; prior military service in the INDOPACOM AOR.
12-15 years related work experience with the majority related to business development, marketing, or technical and engineering solutions.
Proven experience in building relationships with strategic teaming partners (prime and sub) Ability to develop and mature key relationships within customer organizations.
Ability to operate independently but still retain an enterprise focus.
Demonstrated understanding of customer needs to align Peraton's capabilities and core values.
Proven ability to structure key partnerships and alliances and to establish and grow new relationships (critical success factors) Must demonstrate high energy, integrity, strong business acumen, professionalism, and commitment Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with customers, to include senior executives and General/Flag Officers Demonstrated experience with the maze of rules, regulations, and idiosyncrasies that drive the Federal Government technology capture process.
US citizenship and TOP SECRET clearance required.

Target Salary Range $229,000 - $366,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
