Position Summary The Technical Sourcing Manager leads the planning and coordination of material requirements and vendor management for the Technical Sourcing divisions within the Material Management Department.
Responsible for ensuring the most cost competitive value in accordance with company compliance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities Manage the team responsible for the planning, ordering, and expediting of aircraft parts and services to maximize On-Time Performance of aircraft operations with objectives designed to deliver high quality, low cost, and timely delivery of products to internal and external Technical Operations customers Develop 3 to 5-year strategic plans for supporting check operations and planned maintenance events Contribute to the development of maintenance contracts Develop, manage, and drive metrics and operational performance management tools for the Technical Sourcing Team Reduce spend and drive productivity improvements within Technical Sourcing Identify, select, negotiate with, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to drive synergies across planned events to optimize total spend, deliver supply chain value, and savings for the business Manage catalog services, purchasing, planning, order processing, requisition, & fill rate Responsible for the development and maintenance of Technical Sourcing policies and procedures manual.
Train, coach, and mentor direct reports for career development and performance improvement Manage and establish day-to-day processes for the personnel administration of direct and indirect report employees Other duties as required Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with emphasis in Supply Chain Management processes 3 years of relevant work experience 1 year of supervisory experience Self-directing and able to meet deadlines in an environment of constantly changing priorities Understanding and experience in implementing internal controls to meet operational, regulatory requirements, and best practices Proven experience managing a budget Experience managing vendor relationships Lean Six Sigma Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with MRO solutions Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Requires flexibility in schedule including, but not limited to after hours, holidays, and weekends.
On call support, travel domestic and internationally to support activities related to aircraft maintenance support, resolving supplier issues, negotiating value added pricing, and developing joint remedies to supplier issues is required / Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
