Multi-trade Carpentry Technician
Honolulu, HI Honolulu, HI Full-time Full-time $18 - $25 an hour $18 - $25 an hour 14 days ago 14 days ago 14 days ago Signing Bonus of up to $1,500! We are a licensed general contractor looking for an in-house worker with multi-trade carpentry skills.
? Perform carpentry related work on residential and commercial repair projects; including cabinetry, shelving, baseboards, door and window casing, exterior trim, laminate flooring, towel bars, light fixtures, etc.
? Perform rough carpentry as needed; including framing, exterior siding, door and window installation, etc.
? Detach & reset outlet covers and switch plates, cable outlet covers, data outlet covers, etc.
? Hang, patch, and tape drywall.
? Apply smooth coat, orange peel, knockdown, skip-trowel, and other finishes to drywall and plaster.
? Match existing finishes in repaired areas.
? Reset cove base, baseboard, casing, and trim.
? Putty, patch, prime, and paint.
? Patch small drywall holes and cutouts, touch-up drywall finishes as necessary; light sand if needed.
? Gather paint samples from projects and get them professionally matched.
Pick up paint from store.
? Detach & reset wall and ceiling-mounted items as needed, tape or cut around as needed.
? Thoroughly clean the work area and surrounding areas of dust and debris.
? Perform final walk-through and job completion.
Close out repair projects.
? Perform other duties as required.
Most of your work will be in residential homes and apartments, where customer service and cleanliness is top priority.
You must have your own tools.
