The individual/team conducts data validation for all information obtained from the Date Warehouse sources, identifying any deficiencies within the system and/or query design. Uses problem-solving/troubleshooting techniques to resolve and work directly with the database administration team to document, report and correct data deficiencies.
The individual/team also monitors the local data warehouse server (SQL server) in order to assure proper functioning and security is maintained. When necessary server updates are performed expeditiously to mitigate any extended lengths of downtime which could adversely impact facility decision making
Server migration from 2008 to 2012
Create and run reports for end users.
Validation reports - ensure accuracy of all data provided to end users through source verification.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to all end users
Create and execute vision to develop a series of analytic dashboards encompassing key metrics to be tracked on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Communicate timely information to end users on current and future initiatives based on the organization's needs.
Manager - manages all activities and functions of staff involved with analysis, definition, specification, development, testing, documentation and installation of new and/or existing applications.
Manager - Manages a staff responsible for the design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation and implementation of software applications. Manages a staff of software testers involved in a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
Expert with MUMPS programming language development and use of intersystem cache objects (ability to build and edit)
Expert ability with VISTA FileMan.
Expert in SQL Manager Server
Experience with and extensive knowledge of existing VAPIHCS Data Warehouse and its structures
Experience with and extensive knowledge of the applications which utilize the VAPIHCS data warehouse (such as Insight, Consult Tracking, Janus 3.0)
Expertise with SQL server management (administrative and query development), including the ability to migrate the server from 2008 to 2012Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
