COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for a Project Manager for Honolulu, Hawaii to support the U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM).
Manager of a multi-million dollar, geographically distributed team of professionals, who provide niche services to U.S. Pacific Command. Candidate must be able to build and manage a team.
Research and writing capability sufficient to provide analytical rigor necessary to generate operationally relevant cultural publications. Supports operational mission analysis; development of end states, effects, and measures of effectiveness; and preparation of completed operational plans.
Experience interfacing with higher level management or organizations is required.
Experience in operational planning and/or exercise support with some of the combatant commands offices is required.
Extensive in-country experience in the Asian-Pacific region with a solid market research background in those areas.
Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.
Responsible for preparing department specific reports as required by government or customer.
Responsible for direct customer support in the planning and execution of special activities such as conferences, meetings and scheduling.
Some travel will be required.
May assist in proposal development
Adherence to budget execution.
May serve as Liaison between department and other departments as well as with outside customers, regulatory personnel, etc.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in a related field or equivalent experience. Master's degree highly desired.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of 8 years work related experience, including 3 years supervisory experience.
Previous project/program management in support of government strategic communication, media and/or web operation programs required.
Extensive knowledge of the Asian-Pacific region required.
Working knowledge of online media and social networking platforms is required.
Previous experience supporting PACOM highly desired.
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs required.
TOP SECRET Security Clearance required with ability to obtain SCI.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with one of the foreign Asian languages used in the U.S. Pacific Command's Area of Responsibility.
Experience working with one of the Defense Department's joint force headquarters.
Experience in Marketing, Psychological Operations, Public Relations, or related fields.
Exposure to Social Network Assessments
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet requirements for access to classified information.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
