Title: Strategic Communication Specialist/Analyst Location: Hawaii-Honolulu
Key Role:
Provide services to the Commander for strategic communications specialist services to perform strategic communication analysis, recommend and provide subject matter expertise in communicating to target audience, identify and anticipate command-related issues specific to items and issues that are of direct interest to DoD leadership in the execution of their duties, research special projects, including action plans, and provide strategic executive advice. Provide the Commander with the information, alternative views, and questions required to effectively evaluate staff recommendations in areas that are related to the Commander's priorities and command focus topics that are communicated to external audiences. Provide leadership with plans and options to effectively engage across the AOR and across the whole of government while remaining aligned with the Commander's vision. Provide strategic engagement planning and execution, calendar management and analysis, and the review of staff products to ensure they comply with the Commander's guidance.
Basic
Qualifications:
-1 years of experience with strategic communications, public affairs, marketing, or project management
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience with strategic communications, public affairs, marketing, or project management
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with communication process and communication strategy development
Clearance:
