Title: Simulation Database Developer Location: Hawaii-Honolulu
Key Role:
Provide comprehensive simulation support to military training requirements in a theater level exercise support organization. Analyze military training objectives to identify best representational approach and translates requirements into simulation scenario elements. Recommend simulation architecture and database structure and characteristics and research military organizational structures, capabilities, and system processes in terms of model characteristics to ensure proper representation within the simulated environment. Populate computer simulation databases in support of theater level military exercises. Conduct model operator training and participate or lead event tests to verify database inputs prior to exercise execution. Provide technical support to the exercise planners and other military leaders, leveraging knowledge of military operations and joint exercise development.
Basic
Qualifications:
-2 years of experience with database development or related simulations field
-Experience with working in a DoD operational or training environment
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Ability to interact with and brief senior exercise participants and military leaders
-Ability to work within or lead a team in developing simulation or C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence) and technical requirements during conferences
-Active Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
-5 years of experience in a related simulations field
-Experience with the Joint Training System
-Experience with Joint Theater Level Simulation (JTLS)
-Experience with Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), or related military C4I systems
-Experience with systems administration in Linux and Windows environments
-Ability to expand one's horizons beyond the confines of their job description
-BS degree in CS or Information Systems
