KITV Hearst Television's ABC affiliate in Honolulu, HI, is looking for a part-time associate producer. This is an entry level position designed to assist in the production of on-air newscasts and assist in the editing and posting of material online. The Associate Producer also works with the assignment desk as assigned and archives news stories onto archive tapes.

Assist in production of newscasts as assigned. Write stories as assigned. Find archive footage as necessary. Post stories and videos to web site as assigned. Archive news stories and other news elements as assigned. Assist the assignment desk as assigned. Help manage the editing schedule for newscasts as assigned.
Requirements:Qualifications Requirements:
o Must be a self-starter; someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do
o Ability to multi-task
o Ability to work under pressure, making quick decisions to react to changes that could adversely affect the newscast
o Must be able to perform basic computer functions
Education:Education:
o Bachelor's degree in journalism or communication preferred
o High school diploma
Experience:Experience Requirements:
Must have some experience working in a newsroom environment either in a professional setting or a college curriculum.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
