Job Description:
The Recovery Care Coordinator position supports the Navy Wounded Warrior - Safe Harbor Program and is located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii.
Provides guidance and counseling to wounded, injured and disabled service members and their families to ensure all eligible benefits are received and to assist with transition from military to civilian life.
Conducts intake, assessments, makes recommendations and follows-up with eligible individuals.
Coordinates the actions of others, may lead and direct the work of others.
Coordinates support with several outside agencies including military subject matter experts, the Veteran's Administration, State Employment Agencies, Educational Liaisons, installation officials, and several other agencies that service these service members including non-profit organizations.
Required Skills and
Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5
years' related experience.
Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups.
Must be able to establish professional relations with hospital staff including; medical personnel, social workers, religious staff and support agencies, facilities and organizations.
Computer literate including Microsoft Office suite (Word, working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint) and be comfortable using software to produce reports, entering data and providing scheduled updates.
Familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree.
Previous military experience or as Spouse of Service Member is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
